Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, oversee month-end close processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a proven track record in financial analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Oversee the month-end close process
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Reconcile inventory subledger to the accounting system
- Review and post inventory entries for the month
- Calculate manufacturing cost of goods sold
- Assist with the cash management
- Coordinate the annual audit and other audit requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Experience in accounting for inventory for a manufacturing company is a plus
- Experience in monthly closing process is a must
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the accounting cycle
- 6+ years of accounting experience is required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Team player eager to work in a dynamic work environment
