Position Summary:
The Sr. Accountant, AR & Revenue Lead serves as the primary finance owner for accounts receivable and revenue accounting review activities, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of AR balances, deferred revenue accounts, customer deposits, revenue-related reconciliations, and associated financial reporting for North Americas region. This role supports month-end close activities, reviews complex accounting transactions and reconciliations, analyzes revenue trends and variances, and helps maintain consistent accounting processes and controls for the NA region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own Accounts Receivable, revenue accounting, and deferred revenue processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Review AR aging, collections activity, customer deposits, reconciliations, and account balances to identify and resolve discrepancies, collection risks, and account exceptions.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities related to revenue recognition, customer deposits, deferred revenue, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring complete supporting documentation and compliance with accounting policies.
- Maintain and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures, while developing scalable AR processes that support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and auditors to resolve accounting issues, support audits, improve data quality, and implement process and system enhancements.
- Establish scalable processes and workflows that support future team growth and demonstrate readiness for potential people leadership responsibilities as organizational needs evolve.
- AI fluency, including the ability to evaluate and use AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, analysis, documentation, and process quality while applying sound business judgment and data confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Business-level Englishproficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ora relatedfield.
- Experience supporting and reviewing accounting activities for U.S. and Canadian entities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including accounts receivable, revenue accounting, ormonth-end close responsibilities.
- Experience preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working within ERP or accounting systems.
Preferred:
- Professional accounting certification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience with deferred revenue accounting and revenue recognition processes.
- Experience supporting audits and financial compliance activities.
- Experience working in a global or multi-entity organization.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience with Accounts Payable, banking, accruals, prepaids, and general ledger accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar accounting platforms.
