Goodside Health is looking for a resourceful and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to serve on our Corporate Finance team at our Fort Worth headquarters. The RoleThe Senior Accountant serves as a key resource for the organization and is responsible for performing general accounting and related duties efficiently and accurately. This person will build relationships across all departments by resolving questions, researching transactions and budget/trend variances, and communicating regularly and in a timely manner. The Senior Accountant will join our legacy Finance team and collaborate with the Controller and CFO on projects and deliverables.
What You'll Do• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in QuickBooks.
• Verify that financial transactions are coded correctly.
• Process accounts receivable and payables in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed assets and prepaids ledgers.
• Maintain intercompany ledgers.
• Support monthly and year-end financial close.
• Facilitate accounts payable activity for a small multi-entity healthcare company.
• Support the annual financial audit performed by a third-party public accounting firm.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred; experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and other applicable regulatory rules, regulations, and requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with demonstrated teamwork and vendor management skills.
• Experience in a deadline-oriented, multi-task environment.
• Proven ability to interact efficiently with all levels of management and staff.
• Experience with QuickBooks highly preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas).

Skills Required
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and applicable regulatory rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas)
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills with teamwork and vendor management experience

Urgent Care for Kids is a pediatric urgent care chain that provides high-quality, compassionate medical care, specifically for newborns through 21-year-olds. They offer on-demand and pre-scheduled after-hours care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries when a pediatrician's office is closed.
