Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing financial statements and their supporting schedules for the SEC reporting process (10-Q, 10-K). You will participate in month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis. Additionally, you will assist with technical accounting research, SEC documentation, and help facilitate quarterly reviews and annual audits. You will collaborate on ad hoc accounting and finance projects, contributing to process improvements and driving continuous development. Key Focuses:

  • Support the preparation of the Company’s financial statements for internal and external reporting, including footnote disclosures in the Form 10-Q/K
  • Analyze data, including period-to-period fluctuations, to substantiate period-end balances and record month-end journal entries, particularly surrounding ASC 606 revenue-related and ASC 842 lease-related entries
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and assist with monthly account reconciliations
  • Contribute to SEC reporting and assist with technical accounting research and drafting memos
  • Help manage internal and external audit requests for quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Document and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and strong knowledge of US GAAP standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification
  • Hands-on experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting standards
  • Experience in public accounting with a Big 4 firm preferred
  • Independent, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results
  • Adaptable and able to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities, embracing change with a positive and flexible approach

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$122,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.

Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
