Superior is currently seeking a Sr. Accountant of Financial Reporting and Consolidations to join our team in Houston, TX (On-Site 5 days).
The Senior Accountant of Financial Reporting and Consolidations supports the Company’s global financial close and consolidation processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role assists in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures, and supports the review of intercompany transactions and balances. Additionally, this role participates in process improvement initiatives and special projects, contributing within a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes in OneStream to support timely and accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related reporting schedules.
- Support corporate quarterly and annual reporting requirements, including Form 10-K, disclosures, and ad hoc filings.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure proper elimination entries.
- Record top-side journal entries to OneStream.
- Assist with quarterly government surveys and related reporting requirements.
- Support quarterly and annual audit processes, including preparation of audit deliverables.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Education & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with financial close and consolidation systems (e.g., OneStream).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Process-oriented, forward-thinking mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Background in public accounting or a large, multi-entity organization preferred.
