The position is Account Manager for the Honeywell Buildings Automation business. 


This sales role will be responsible for the complete sales performance in selling our Fire portfolio of products to Specialized Fire Alarm Contractors pursuing long & short cycle opportunities, and complex projects, for a territory plan. The goal of the position is to drive profitable above-market sales by implementing tactical sales initiatives and selling across a specific portfolio of Fire Alarm, VESDA, Voice Alarm & software transformation, brands.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To sell the Enterprise Fire Product Portfolio into Fire Markets
  • Ensure that order and shipment targets are met or exceeded
  • Provide accurate monthly sales forecasting, WIP and sales pipeline reports
  • Manage a CRM tool (NEX) to nurture customer relationships by capturing communications, leads and project opportunities
  • Execute a territory plan in managing an existing customer base to build and retain relationships to increase sales revenue
  • Review new customers for business growth opportunities 
  • Call on Contractors/Systems Integrators, Specifiers, End-Users to specify product.
  • Provide estimates/quotations to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To clearly communicate market trends and business opportunities to management and marketing 
  • You should personally be involved in all aspects of the sale and use the Connected Building Solutions teams when projects are large and complex or as required.
  • Provide monthly reports covering major sales wins/losses, sales pipeline, major project opportunities, opposition products, reference site information, etc.
  • You should actively undertake 40 hours of training per annum subject to approval from the Regional Sales Manager.

 

Key Experience & Capabilities:


  • 5 years’ experience in sales
  • A good knowledge of fire protection or other relevant markets
  • Estimating / Quoting
  • Strong Account Relationship building skills.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong and Effective Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Power Point, Order management related ERP, SFDC 
  • Ability to engage and negotiate at multiple levels within an organisation
  • Consultative selling skills in a technical market
  • Ability to develop, negotiate and present proposals
  • Strong writing skills
