Job Description

Your Career

The Public and Social Infrastructure Business Headquarters is responsible for central government ministries and agencies, local governments, universities/research institutes, hospitals, and social infrastructure companies throughout Japan.

Among these, this position will be responsible for social infrastructure companies in eastern Japan (electric power, gas etc.).

Your Impact

  • Social infrastructure companies face major challenges in how to protect core infrastructure, including IT/OT, from increasing threats, and this is a very large market in which we can support
  • Our company already has a great track record in each market, but in order to further expand our business, we will approach social infrastructure companies directly to find cases
  • At the same time, we will approach major partners and support proposals for our products/services
  • You will work with other departments within the company, such as product sales and marketing teams, to increase awareness in your market and create cases

Qualifications

Your Experience

[MUST]

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate sales for major enterprise companies (nice to have sales experience in the public sector and social infrastructure)
  • 5+ years of experience in sales of IT products (network, software or cloud - SaaS/IaaS/PaaS/security, etc.)

[WANT]

  • Understanding of the business flow and organizational structure of foreign IT vendors

[Desired personality]

  • Ability to communicate smoothly and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent self-management skills
  • Reading and writing level English skills

In the Public and Social Infrastructure Sales Division, we handle central government agencies, local governments, universities/research institutions, hospitals, and social infrastructure companies nationwide.

Our division boasts a significant share in the public market and offers the opportunity to gain cutting-edge experience in the cybersecurity domain, particularly in the evolving public sector, including the Digital Agency.

Our sales team has an exceptionally long average tenure, allowing for continuous skill development and networking opportunities. Sales engineers work closely with the sales team and collaborate with internal and external partners to address projects and explore new markets.
