Job Description

The Senior Account Manager will work with key decision makers to develop, execute, and implement strategic objectives for the Northeast business. The role will interact daily with the Region Manager and cross-functional Electrolux teams to execute local promotional plans and manage SKU and brand mix through merchandising, pre- and post- audit of promotional performance, etc. The Senior Account Manager will also help lead the Northeast sale team and act as the liaison between the Region Manager and the District Sales Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly meet or exceed quarterly sales quota
  • Assist with pricing and merchandising strategy to align with company and channel mix targets
  • Carry out Northeast go-to-market/plan-to-sell strategy, while ensuring field sales team operates within budget
  • Manage all day-to-day sell-in and ordering responsibilities for respective customers
  • Work in tandem with builder sales division to grow EMA presence in this space
  • Provide competitive merchandising analysis to the Region Manager and EMA leadership, in order to effectively execute plan-to-sell strategy
  • Develop promotional plans that maximize returns to EMA, meeting customer needs in a dynamic marketplace, while maintaining retail compliance
  • Track and monitor all promotional activity for program cost and benefit
    • Ensure costs are within budget, forecasted, and submitted in a timely matter, while working closely with finance and AR
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained on items, including monthly plan-to-sell and price sheet
  • Assist in product line forecast reviews to reflect customer demand
  • Execute quarterly business reviews with District Managers to ensure local promotional funds and marketing expenditures are driving profitable growth for EMA and its customers
  • Manage expenses for travel and business-related activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Business Administration or related field
  • 7-10 years sales experience; marketing management experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Solid financial analysis aptitude
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of product development processes, advertising, marketing and sales
  • Proven competency in MS Office Applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Capable of setting priorities, meeting pre-determined deadlines and multi-tasking
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Self-Motivated with strong work ethic
