- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for Central Europe, identifying growth opportunities across existing accounts and new prospects within the semiconductor and systems design ecosystem.
- Drive multi-million-dollar, complex sales campaigns end-to-end - from lead qualification and needs analysis through proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across all levels of customer organisations, including engineering, finance, and executive/leadership stakeholders.
- Position and articulate the value of Cadence’s EDA portfolio - including Virtuoso Studio, Cadence Cerebrus AI Studio, Spectre Simulation, and the Verisium AI-driven Verification Platform - against customer challenges and business goals.
- Identify and translate customer pain points into compelling, tailored solution narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with internal field and factory teams, including applications engineers, product specialists, and support, to deliver a cohesive customer experience and ensure long-term account satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting, consistently achieving and overachieving against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer roadmaps to ensure Cadence remains a strategic, long-term partner across the territory.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in technology sales, with demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a B2B environment.
- Strong working knowledge of electronic design and IC design processes, sufficient to engage credibly with engineering teams and understand customer challenges.
- Proven track record of meeting and overachieving revenue targets, including managing multi-million-dollar accounts.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal), with the ability to adapt messaging for engineering, finance, and executive audiences.
- Experience managing full sales cycles, including lead generation, solution positioning, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Strong working knowledge of electronic design and IC design processes, sufficient to engage credibly with engineering teams and understand customer challenges.

Additional Information:
- This is a newly created role, sitting within Cadence’s Central European Sales organisation and reporting to the Sales Director for the region.
- You will work closely with applications engineers, product specialists, and global factory teams to support pre- and post-sales activities.
- Key stakeholders include customer engineering and procurement teams, internal Cadence account management, and regional sales leadership.
- The role is based at Cadence’s Feldkirchen office (Munich area) and operates in a hybrid working model, with regular customer-facing presence expected across the Central European territory.
- Tools include standard CRM platforms for pipeline management, as well as internal Cadence collaboration tools.
