Job Description

The Senior Account Executive of the Insurance Vertical develops relationships with independent insurance agencies and other industry entities, positioning them as potential IDIQ channel partners. Using a multi-channel outbound approach, they drive discovery conversations with agency decision-makers and manage the relationship from initial contact through to the completed discovery call.

As deals progress, the Sr. Account Executive shadows and supports the close and agent-adoption onboarding, gaining hands-on experience with the full cycle. This foundation sets them up to assume full deal ownership as the channel grows and their track record builds.

Key job functions include:

  • Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective partners beyond leads provided by management.
  • Utilize consultative selling approaches such as S.P.I.N. Selling or the Challenger Sales methodology to uncover business challenges, educate prospects, and guide them toward value-based solutions.
  • Execute 25-30 meaningful outbound touches per day across a multi-channel cadence (email, phone, text, LinkedIn, video) targeting prospective agencies and other industry partners.
  • Schedule and run discovery calls with decision-makers, targeting 4-6 scheduled discovery calls per week.
  • Shadow and support the proposal, close, and agent-adoption onboarding process on self-originated deals to build full-cycle ownership.
  • Report on pipeline status of prospective partners to management, tracked through each stage as defined by our CRM.
  • Assist marketing entities through the partner activation process.
  • Demonstrate relentless pipeline discipline and thorough activity documentation while maintaining efficient, accurate workflows within the company CRM.
  • Become an expert in IDIQ products, benefits, and functionality to represent the offering credibly in early-stage agency conversations.

Additional duties

  • Able to handle and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive consumer information in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
  • Must follow all company policies and procedures regarding data privacy and protection and data loss prevention.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of inside sales or call center experience, preferably in a performance-driven environment involving customer needs analysis or solution-based conversations.
  • Proven experience leveraging and applying consultative sales methodologies such as S.P.I.N. Selling and the Challenger Sales approach to uncover customer needs and drive solution-focused outcomes.
  • Prior experience or exposure to credit reporting, identity theft protection, or related consumer-financial products highly preferred.
  • Background in financial services (e.g., mortgage/real estate, insurance, financial planning, banking, employee benefits, tax advising) strongly preferred due to the need for business acumen and value-based conversation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with the ability to leverage these tools for communication, reporting, and sales performance tracking.

  • Strong telephonic and electronic communication skills and etiquette.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.

Additional Information

Position Details: This is a full-time hourly position (40 hours/week). This is an on-site position working in our Tampa, FL, office (4904 Eisenhower Blvd South Suite 100, Tampa, FL 33634). 

Pay: The pay range for this position is $30.00-$32.00 per hour. The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
