Job Description
This is a Hybrid Position.
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Account Executive of Commercial Lines to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about risk management and possess a proven track record of working well in a team setting to promote the production of new accounts and retention of existing accounts. The ideal candidate will work on cross-selling and creatively execute successful marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will provide prompt, efficient, and high-quality service to clients and prospective clients. The best candidate will have the marketing acumen to find and execute new business as the opportunity arises.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Set up new business and renewal submissions.
Prepare applications and request underwriting information needed; forward to the client
Order historical loss data
Prepare Specifications and Proposals
Review quotes; negotiate pricing/terms
Marketing/Binding, gathering additional information as required
Forward binders, COI’s, EPI’s. ID cards and invoices
Review/process policies when received
Update applications in EPIC with renewal information and subsequent changes
Review/process endorsements when received
Client visits, as necessary
Issue/request/review binder extensions when applicable
Issue midterm COI’s/EPI’s when requested
Billings/Invoicing/Accounting Discrepancies
Bill Risk Management fees (monthly, quarterly or annually)
Contract review as necessary; provide recommendations
Claims handling
Process Audits
Follow up on activities daily
Follow up on cancellations
Finance Agreements
Prepare premium allocations
Policy changes
Stay informed about industry developments and emerging trends
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in insurance industry software and tools. (Preferably the Applied Systems Software Family.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with Adobe
- Professional designations such CPRM, CPRIA, CIC, or CPCU are a plus.
- Current Ohio P&C License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Highly Organized
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods working on a computer.
- Must be able to attend meetings, conferences, and events as assigned.
