Description

 Responsible for any jobs that need to have a straight edge cut on them. This requires operating a digital knife cutter. This position is Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:00am.

  • Look over the job jacket.
  • Measure materials and determine how to set-up machine.
  • Set up the machine. Enter correct measurements to be cut.
  • Align stock correctly and put stock through machine.
  • Band stock together and sign off job jacket when finished.
  • Take stock over to other areas as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sweeps up around equipment at end of shift.
  • Cleans off table tops and work area.
  • Performs other duties as required or directed.
  • Large job may consist of moving skids by a pallet jack or forklift.

 · Ability to communicate effectively.

· Ability to operate machinery in a safe manner.

· Ability to understand and work with measurements.

· Ability to apply common sense in a variety of situations and to analyze various situations and select appropriate solutions.

· Ability to assimilate and remember various information.

· Ability to produce and complete written reports and forms.

· Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision.

· Ability to perform both routine and varied tasks at a fast pace.

· Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills.

· Ability to follow company policies and procedures while performing job duties.

· Attends work regularly to ensure good production flow.

· May be exposed to noise, heat, and dust.

· Job involves standing most of the shift.
