About this Opportunity:
As a SQL Query Developer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of SQL Database code in an Enterprise Database environment, while adhering to the system development life cycle for all project work. In addition, this position will provide support to update and manage the Database Environment. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
For External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY; Lehi, UT; Chandler, AZ; Berwyn, PA.

In this role, you'll get to:
Create and edit Stored Procedures in MS SQL Server as well as local applications based on end user specifications
Provide data validation to ensure query output represents data accurately and achieve customer needs
Leverage existing Data Query library when obtaining and documenting query design specifications
Assist with Database Maintenance and Operations by completing routine support requests, data updates and other tasks as needed
Manage the change requests and enhancement in Azure DevOps
Develop queries in accordance with defined standards and procedures
Create and maintain database objects (SQL queries and stored procedures) in support of application development
Troubleshoot and debug system inefficiencies
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge in all applicable programming languages and database formats
Identify and troubleshoot issues with various sites or programming code and fix any resulting problems
We're looking for talent who:
Has intermediate knowledge of SQL development in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL/Postgres or Oracle with a preference in Microsoft SQL
Possess knowledge of Client/Server architecture and operations, operating systems, networking, database management and development, as well as high level of programming knowledge.
Has minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information System Analysis
Obtain Orion Industry Certification
Has minimum of 1 year of experience writing SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL/Postgres or Oracle
Possess experience in SQL Reporting writing in SQL Reporting Services or other reporting tools
Preferably has experience in JavaScript, CSS, Python, PowerShell scripting and HTML
Preferably has experience in ETL Tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data factory or AWS Glue
Preferably has experience in financial services or asset management industry
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$56,046.00 - $82,313.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
