Role: SQA Engineer
Requirements
- Self-direct to develop and execute SQA strategy for both physical robot and cloud-based product lines
- Working with cross-functional team to ensure proper planning for verification and validation during the development and release process.
- Establish new tests, best practices, and capabilities for the QA function to bring organization to the next level
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Page Object Model and TestNG test framework
- Partner with other engineering disciplines to develop automated test methodologies to reduce manual testing needs
- Execute developed test plans using a combination of manual and automated system & subsystem testing
- Create detailed and comprehensive test cases
- Document defects and perform regression testing to validate bug fixes
- Analyze quality key performance indicators and provide feedback on test results
- Participate in design and specification reviews to provide meaningful feedback
You
- 8+ years of experience as an SQA or software systems engineer for complex network-enabled IoT hardware devices and web applications
- Familiarity with Java, Python, Golang, or other object oriented programming languages
- Clear and effective communication of defects and risks
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and be an advocate for quality
- Proficient with monitoring and test tools such as Mezmo, Postman, and Metabase
- Experience using AWS services including S3, Lambda, RDS, Amplify
- Experience with software QA automation, building software test automation infrastructure & processes
- Experience with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, etc
- Able to perform physical activities such as squats, lifts, and handling objects of up to 25 lbs.
