Title: Experience Design Intern
Role Overview
You will play a crucial role in providing support to the Experience Design team by exploring and conceptualising design approaches and solutions across retail design, brand experience and point-of-sale retail that maintain the company’s vision and creative beliefs– ‘great ideas expertly and beautifully crafted and delivered with rigour and flair’.
Job Responsibilities
- Creative Conceptualization – Ideate & collaborate with Design Directors, Senior Designers, and Designers to craft concepts that are inventive, and strategic, and create meaningful experiences for diverse industries and audiences.
- Multi-disciplinary Approach - Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to bring our client’s stories to life using communication design principles, including presentations and digital assets.
- Material Procurement & Design Intent Drawings – Translating design concepts into finalized documents ready for execution and collaborating closely with the technical team to produce detailed design intent drawings, and conducting research and coordination with vendors to procure materials and fixtures.
Experience Needed / Our Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Retail Design, Interior Design or a related field.
- Demonstrate 3D modelling skills in SketchUp and have basic knowledge of other design softwares such as Twinmotion, Midjourney and Vectorworks.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to design trends and industry standards.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
