Job Description Summary
Spread Products APAC Business Execution is looking for a highly energized, dynamic professional who is ready to join a fast-paced, world leader in the financial services industry. The individual will report and work closely with the regional Spread Products Business Execution Team to support the APAC Spread Products in the business execution capacity. The individual will liaise with support functions building relationships with credit risk, market risk, operations, client on-boarding, finance and technology to develop and deliver on business strategy. The individual will create & provide effective metrics to the desk heads, country heads and senior product management team. The individual will take a lead role implementing and enhancing the APAC Spread Products control framework including GRC, operational loss processes, and investigation and developing and driving corrective actions. Other ad hoc administration tasks that support the activities of the business including PowerPoint presentations and excel analysis. The role is also key to enabling business growth in region through facilitating new business initiatives, product expansion and driving technology change within the business and will cover a range of identified opportunities in Sales, Trading and Technology.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To work with Regional Management and Business Execution to enhance, implement and deliver key controls and regulatory commitments across the regional Spread Products business.
- To take on responsibilities within larger projects and report on performance and achievements back to the project manager and or the business sponsor.
- Manage the implementation of new product capabilities or new countries.
- To provide the best possible architecture and solutions for emerging business projects to ensure stability and commercial longevity
- Identify new risks and ensure proper controls are in place for specific functions
- Maintain and monitor the controls environment
- Support the expansion and migration initiatives to be transitioned to the team
- Review support functions processes and challenge procedures that are not consistent with global practices.
- Present controls developments to senior management
- Coordinate and manage any Internal Audits and Control Functions’ Testings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant Markets experience across roles in Finance, Risk, Operations, or Front Office.
- Strong evidence of relevant credit products experience.
- Project management skills and experience delivering change in the large institutions, and for complex front to back programs
