Sprayer

1.  PRIMARY PURPOSE  -  Summarize the primary purpose and objective of the position (why the job exists).

Train or assist training of new sprayers

2.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  -  Briefly describe each major job function (those essential to achieving primary purpose). Use specific active verbs that describe what the incumbent does (e.g., “composes,” or “types” letters, rather than “prepares”), and indicate why the function is performed (e.g., composes letters to respond to customer inquiries). 

Spray product on the finishing line per move ticket standards. Ensure color checkers are in place and are checking the color Ensure all portable pots are grounded Ensure all agitators are running Maintain spray equipment includes gun filter cleaning and lubricating equipment Train to sanding duties on the line using a sanding block or sand paper. Train to wiping duties on the line using a wiping rag. Communicate with various departments and personnel. Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork. Maintain production and quality standards. Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions. Perform all duties in a safe manner. At minimum must be cross trained in job prior to and after current position in process flow. Fix unsafe conditions if possible and report condition to supervisor. Follow all environmental policies

3.  OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  -  Describe each marginal function (not essential to achieving the primary purpose) in the same manner as requested in Section 2 above.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.

4.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  -  A.  Describe the minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications, etc., and related job experience (yrs./months ) that incumbent typically must have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably.

• Ability to read and understand move tickets.
• Ability to spray all finishes.
• Must have the ability to identify various finishes and wood species.
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must have good team work/communication skills.
