The Role 

As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for maintaining the inventory of hardware components and the documentation associated with it, configuring them into specific client configurations, overseeing the packing and shipping process, and providing installation and ongoing support to those customers, teams, or league personnel within the United States or globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience in coordination or warehouse management.

As a member of Sportzcast support team, in our Winter Springs, Florida office, your ‘A-game’ should also include a customer service mentality of exceeding expectations, enjoy operating in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to be hands-on helping customers as well as the other support team members.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and track inventory levels of hardware devices to ensure availability for
  • Receive incoming hardware shipments, inspect for damage, and update inventory
  • Configure hardware devices according to specifications and technical
  • Prepare and pack hardware devices for shipping, ensuring they are secure and protected during
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange timely delivery of products to
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and
  • Help develop checklists, installation guides, and other processes to assist customers and the help desk operation as applicable
  • Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to fulfil orders and manage stock levels
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues in the inventory or shipping
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all logistical
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Ensure all issues are logged, tracked, and resolved using the applicable help desk application
  • Escalate issues as appropriate and work with the development team to address issues
  • Assist with process or product improvements by evaluating and recommending changes
  • Adhere to help desk metrics ensuring that SLAs are met
  • Other tasks as directed by line manager

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Previous experience in coordination, warehouse management, or inventory control of hardware components is a necessity
  • Understanding of IT network topology including TCP/IP, subnetting, firewalls and routers
  • Ability to research various online suppliers in order to balance between technical requirements, delivery time, and price.
  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment
  • Excellent time management skills, organizing capabilities and attention to detail
  • Analytical thinker with great problem-solving skills
  • An energetic, supportive, and collaborative team player
  • Comfortable with meeting the challenges of tight deadlines and prioritizing workload
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Willingness to work in shifts, with availability to work during evenings, weekends, holidays

DESIRABLE SKILLS 

  • Comprehension of Binary and ASCII data formats
  • Prior experience or training with circuit boards, troubleshooting or soldering
  • Experience with Atlassian tools for support (Confluence, Jira)
  • Working knowledge of Office 365
  • Experience using a ticket logging system

REQUIRED EXPERICE

  • A high school diploma with technical training
  • 2 years of prior Logistics experience
