Sportsbook Platform Product Owner – ComeOn Group

Location: Graz, Austria on a hybrid office policy

Responsibilities:

As a Sportsbook Platform Product Owner, you’ll be at the core of ComeOn’s sportsbook domain, ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering a user-first, seamless betting experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Own & Shape the Sportsbook Platform – Take ownership of the sportsbook trading platform, from PAM to data feed integrations and platform usability.
  • Define & Document Requirements – Transform business needs into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria, collaborating with UX and key stakeholders.
  • Data-Informed Decision Making – Stay on top of user behavior, market trends, and analytics to ensure our sportsbook is always ahead of the game.
  • Agile Collaboration – Take ownership and introduce agile ways of working including leading squad ceremonies, shaping processes, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Product Oversight – Establish and maintain processes to effectively monitor product performance.
  • Experience with odds provider integrations and knowledge about trading is meritorious.
  • Align Vision & Strategy – Work with other Product Owners and key stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment on vision, goals, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Transparent Communication – Keep all stakeholders informed with roadmap updates, demo sessions, and regular progress reports.
Requirements

What we're looking for:

We’re searching for a driven and customer-focused individual with:

  • 3+ years of experience in product ownership or product management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the betting industry and a passion for sports.
  • Proven experience in a B2C customer-facing product, with a strong grasp of user experience.
  • Excellent UX/UI understanding and the ability to apply design best practices to sportsbook products.
  • Outstanding communication skills with developers, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal), with strong presentation abilities.
  • Technical literacy to ensure seamless collaboration with the development team.
  • Previous experience working with Agile Framework (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Nexus).
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Experience in an international company and working with multicultural teams.
  • A solution-oriented attitude and the ability to overcome challenges proactively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 1-2 times per year).
