Job Description
Are you a sports fanatic with a flair for words? We’re on the hunt for a Sports & TV Copywriter to join our team in London. From golf’s greatest showdowns to the heart-pounding action of boxing, MMA, and horse racing, you’ll craft compelling content that keeps fans on the edge of their seats.
With your insider knowledge of the betting industry, you’ll create engaging, accurate, and SEO-driven content that informs, excites, and converts. If you’re ready to turn passion into powerful storytelling, this is your shot!
What you will do
- Content creation: Write SEO-driven articles and promotional content focusing on diverse sports, such as golf, horse racing, boxing, and MMA, as well as football, reality TV and politics.
- Collaborative strategy: Partner with SEO teams to ensure alignment on promotions, events, and odds.
- Engagement optimisation: Monitor and assess content performance, implementing improvements to enhance SEO visibility and user engagement.
- Research and adaptability: Stay updated on developments in each sport, ensuring timely and accurate content that resonates with fans.
- Editing and refinement: Update high-performing articles to maintain relevance, optimise for SEO, and enhance readability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years experience in sports content creation, preferably in betting.
- Fluent English language skills (both written and verbal)
- Extensive familiarity with a range of sports, particularly golf, boxing, horse racing and MMA.
- Proven ability to produce clear, compelling content.
- Skilled in interpreting data to make informed content decisions.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge/awareness of what is going on in the world of TV, news and politics
