The Findlay YMCA is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Sports Site Supervisor. This role supports the setup, supervision, and success of youth and adult sports leagues—including soccer, volleyball, and basketball—and may also include leading or assisting with YMCA youth sports classes such as Tiny Tots, Rookies, and Champions. Site Supervisors play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and welcoming experience for all participants, families, coaches, and officials.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with setup, supervision, and management of youth and adult sports leagues (soccer, volleyball, basketball, and more).
- Prepare game sites with appropriate equipment (goals, benches, signage, etc.) and ensure facilities are safe and organized.
- Serve as the YMCA’s on-site representative, supporting families, coaches, referees, and players.
- Monitor games and practices to ensure safety, sportsmanship, and YMCA values are upheld.
- Report attendance, incidents, and other key updates to the Sports Director.
- May be called upon to lead or assist with YMCA youth sports classes (Tiny Tots, Rookies, and Champions levels).
- Promote a positive and fun learning environment during sports classes and programs.
- Communicate with supervisors about equipment needs, site concerns, or improvements.
Work Schedule:
- 15-25 hours, part-time hours vary by season.
- Weekday evenings are the primary shift, with some Saturday availability required based on program needs.
