Jack Laurie Group is looking for an experienced Sports Flooring Painter to join our subcontractor network. This role is specifically focused on painting game lines and markings on hardwood basketball courts.
We are looking for someone who understands the precision and attention to detail required to produce clean, professional-looking game lines on finished sports floors. This is a specialized role, and experience painting basketball court lines is required.
Paint basketball court game lines on hardwood floors
Accurately lay out and measure court markings according to specifications
Tape, mask, and prepare surfaces for painting
Apply paint cleanly and consistently with sharp, professional lines
Work with our sports flooring installation team to coordinate project schedules
Protect finished flooring and surrounding areas during the painting process
Identify and communicate issues that could affect the quality of the finished court
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Complete work according to project specifications and timelines
Proven experience painting game lines on hardwood basketball courts
Strong understanding of basketball court layouts and markings
Excellent attention to detail and precision
Ability to measure, lay out, tape, and paint accurately
Experience working around finished hardwood sports floors
Reliable and able to meet project deadlines
Professional communication and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently while coordinating with a larger installation team
Own tools and equipment necessary to complete the work
Properly insured and established as a subcontractor
