ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Develops an effective marketing and sales strategic plan to maximize spirits distribution within an established or growing customer base to support VP Spirits Sales objectives. • Develops broad base of support for The Winebow Group’s services by maintaining routine contact with key decision makers. • Develop and work with Spirits Specialists in market to execute spirits sale budget and increase revenue. • Responsible for staffing, staffing planning, conducting performance appraisals on direct reports, budgeting, ensuring compliance with training requirements, developing direct reports and controlling division expenditures. • Maintain current Span of Control to achieve budget and top regional customer accounts. • Develop both Broad and Chain team regional sales markets to achieve budget. • Responsible for communicating directly with the regional sales leadership team including DOS/VPs to align sales goals in Broad and Chain teams. • Help manage and prioritize key brands within the Winebow Spirits Portfolio. • Manage specialists’ programs such 50 key account lists, incentives, opening new accounts and new partners. • Introduction and placement of new products. • Plan and execute regional Marketing Meetings. • Communicates with suppliers to ensure goals incentives and priorities are being executed. • Provides timely educational programs, materials and services when deemed necessary. • Communication with Spirits Portfolio Managers to develop sales programming, and sales communication. • Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner. • Arrives at work, appointments, meetings, and all work-related functions on time and as scheduled.OTHER FUNCTIONS: • Attends meetings and functions. • Acts as back-up for out of market Spirits Specialists • Performs other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: Significant travel by automobile and regional travel. EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED: Automobile, hand cart, telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, calculator, beeper. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting up to 30 lbs., bending, sitting, carrying, standing, climbing, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity, driving. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Five years marketing or sales experience in the Spirits industry. • 3+ years supervisory experience. • Demonstrated computer knowledge & diver knowledge • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills. • Valid Driver’s License.
