Summary:
In this role, you will serve as the point person for Vizient’s key accounts and have a direct impact on the satisfaction and retention of providers. You will be accountable for the Spend Management Services and Delivery as well as the day-to-day operations of this partnership while leading functional teams or projects.
Responsibilities:

Manage several large hospital-wide initiatives, simultaneously, which span across financial, operational and clinical areas.

Develop strategic partnerships on innovative and market-leading tools and solutions.

Leverage knowledge on best practice in high-dollar impact areas like physician preference management and purchased services.

Develop provider account plans that drive growth in the business partnership by identifying, prioritizing and implementing high value projects, and delivering strong support and customer service.

Utilize Vizient tools, knowledge and expertise to implement cost saving methods to positively influence provider results.

Align strategic account needs with Vizient solutions and alternatives to drive growth, value and revenue.

Conduct quarterly business reviews with senior executives.

Manage action plans from business reviews and operationalize follow up.

Promote and foster networking and learning opportunities with other Vizient Providers, particularly those in the AMC Network where applicable.
Qualifications:
-
Relevant degree preferred.
-
7 or more years of relevant work experience required with strong preference for experience in account management within healthcare.

Demonstrated success working with executive leadership at acute care providers, with proven ability to influence decisions at the C-suite and department head levels.

Experience with group purchasing contracts is highly desirable.

Management experience and strong business acumen.

Prefer candidates based in Tennessee.

Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $194,200.00.
