Summary:
In this role, you will serve as the spend management performance lead for multiple customers and be accountable for guiding and improving customer spend performance across all categories. You will ensure the spend management team is coordinated and collaborating to align to the customers’ goals and the objectives of the partnership.
Responsibilities:

Act as the provider expert that champions, leads, and coordinates all spend management activity through the spend management delivery team’s account planning/work plan process in alignment with the engagement commitments/KPIs.

Facilitate, at minimum, monthly meetings to coach and coordinate all spend management delivery team members, fostering alignment with provider priorities and enabling One Vizient delivery for a strong provider partnership.

Host, at minimum, monthly provider stakeholder meetings at the strategic level across spend management categories to understand provider problems and align Vizient solutions to help solve, drive value, and grow the Vizient-provider relationship and communicate engagement updates.

Develop strategic relationships and partnerships across all spend categories to influence how the providers thinks about and engages with Vizient as a strategic partner.

Interpret and leverage data gained from Vizient analytics tools that generate spend management insights and intelligence, enabling provider performance improvement.

Conduct quarterly business reviews with senior stakeholders and executives.

Ensure effective training for providers on programs and tools.

Demonstrate national and defined territory expert knowledge of/monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Manage supplier relationships in relation to spend management engagement in partnership with category managers.
Qualifications:

Relevant degree preferred.
-
7 or more years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry required.

Experience within spend management or spend categories preferred.

Ability to influence supply chain executives and develop relationships vertically and horizontally within accounts.

Candidate must reside in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the US (VA, WV, NC and DC area preferred).

Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $194,200.00.
