The Poggio platform leverages the cutting edge of AI to automate large portions of the enterprise sales workflow, including account planning, account research and meeting prep, deal reviews, territory planning, and QBRs. Responsibility over Poggio Labs’ linchpin technology
Jillian Kozyra’s team is responsible for the key pieces of Poggio Labs’ tech. Along with the company’s APIs, her team also manages the connectors — using a combination of Google Cloud Functions, Fivetran, Airflow and BigQuery — that extract important data for the app. “These are critical pieces of the infrastructure with a lot of complexity, which makes them fun to work on,” said Kozyra. Working with such essential pieces of Poggio Labs’ tech stack requires a culture of communication and innovation, so Kozyra’s team makes heavy use of design documents and requests for comments (RFCs).

Connor Doyle
Co-founder and CTO
GUIDED EMPOWERMENT
A leadership style to create future leaders
As co-founder and CTO, Connor Doyle understands that as a company grows, its people need to grow with it. As such, he abides by a leadership philosophy of guided empowerment. “I lay out high level goals and properly communicate the business reasons behind them, then provide as much support as is required to build and execute a workable plan,” he said. To further guide his team, Doyle began the company with a culture thesis of empowerment, work ethic, respect and equity. These techniques are already paying off — Poggio’s early cohort is set up to take the lead as the company expands.

Jacob Rush has worked in New York, Mexico City, New Orleans and North Carolina — all because of Poggio Labs’ remote work policy. “I’ve been able to grab my laptop and work from anywhere I’m interested in traveling to,” he said. And that’s just while he’s on the clock — off the clock, Rush has been able to use Poggio Labs’ personal development stipend to take a few strokes off his golf game. Rush’s small team of well-rounded individuals are willing to help each other if someone wants to take time off to travel or work on themselves. Overall, Poggio Labs fully embraces remote flexibility.
