We are seeking a talented individual to lead the Marsh Risk Specialty business in the Philippines. This role will be based in Manila. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role is responsible for leading the overall Specialty business for the Philippines and is accountable for the commercial outcomes, future strategy and growth of the firm’s Specialty solutions in the market including overall P&L management for these products and services. This role will provide technical and business direction to the team as well as aiding broader business initiatives in the market. Reporting to the Risk Management & Specialty Leader and leading a team of accomplished professionals, the successful candidate will be a member of the Country Executive Leadership Team and will contribute to driving Marsh Risk's future growth and success in the market. This role will also work closely with the Regional Specialty Leader (based in Singapore). We require a leader with strong, visible and reputable leadership in the marketplace with the ability to win new business, as well as commercial acumen, technical proficiency in relevant areas, a deep understanding of the trends and opportunities for the business, and outstanding team leadership & management.

Drive Profitable Growth:
- Maximize all yield opportunities across Specialties.
- Accurately forecast revenues.
- Work in collaboration with Customer Segment Leaders to support their growth objectives.
- Consistently drive all new and expanded opportunities across Specialties.
- Foster a culture of cross selling & collaboration across Specialties.
- Increase overall client retention and engage large key accounts.
- Drive knowledge, familiarity and relevance to client executives and clients for specialty solutions for the Philippines
Strategic Execution and Operations:
- Review Specialties from an Industry and Product vertical to increase value for clients.
- Develop clear strategies and value propositions for each Specialty.
- Deliver the value of Specialties across various stakeholders.
- Leverage the Regional and Global Specialty network to deliver unparalleled solutions to clients regardless of geography.
- Partner with Placement and Claims to ensure best outcomes for our clients.
People Management
- Develop existing talent and succession plans for the organization and create career progression for key talent. Coach and mentor colleagues.
- Lead the Specialty team to promote inclusion and development of diverse teams.
