Role and Responsibilities
- Preparation of corporate income tax returns for the European Head office of Samsung Semiconductor Europe and its foreign branches in cooperation with external advisors
- Calculation of periodic advance tax payments
- Preparation of monthly tax reports to the Samsung Group
- Coordination of tax audits
- Support in various transfer pricing projects
- Support company’s digitalization projects
- Act as a contact person for business partners and external advisors for domestic and foreign direct tax related matters
Skills and Qualifications
About You
- University degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting or tax, or an apprenticeship training as an accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter/-in IHK) or as a tax accountant (Steuerfachangestellte)
- First relevant working experience (1-3 years) within a tax department of a multinational company or Big4 accounting firm
- Transfer pricing experience is a plus
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task under minimum supervision
- Proactive team player with ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Fluent in English and German (C1), Korean language is a plus
