What will be your key responsibilities?
1.Provide sourcing activities from S2P process:
- Contracting to be aligned to category strategies managed by category team.
- Provide the first line of escalation on issues between suppliers and the business
- Conduct negotiations and supplier relationship management for in scoped categories and spend thresholds for requisitions.
- Secures price, capacity & service levels in line with commitments to the business.
- Ensures effective risk management of the supply base, through robust contracts and monitoring of financial and other KPls, implement corrective actions as appropriate.
- Establishes & maintains relationships with key stakeholders and their teams to ensure understanding of their needs and to facilitate the appropriate level of challenge.
- Complies with policies, systems & controls.
- Communicates business risk & opportunity.
2.Provide support to key stakeholders:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on defining business requirements to be incorporated into SOWs.
3.Participate in providing continuous improvement:
- Provide insights to category team regarding supplier performance and opportunities within ad hoc purchasing trends
- Collaborate with MCS S2P managers, content team and category managers to develop optimal buying channels to transact with supply base
- Identify system process improvements with systems and process for FE assessment
Skills Required
