Position Overview:
· We are looking for a hands-on Lead Engineer with strong expertise in Rust and backend web application development.
· The role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
· The candidate will work closely with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and engineering leadership.
· The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Rust, APIs, databases, performance optimization, and production-grade backend systems.
Required Skills & Competencies:
· 8–12 years of experience in software engineering and backend application development.
· Strong hands-on expertise in Rust programming language and backend web application development.
· Good understanding of Rust concepts including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, error handling, and concurrency.
· Experience building REST APIs, service-based applications, database integrations, and production backend systems.
