  • Higher education sales growth: Achieve or exceed revenue targets by driving adoption of Pearson products and services across assigned higher education accounts.
  • Strategic account management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key university stakeholders, including Teaching & Learning leaders, IT, Procurement, Finance, Libraries, and Academic Designers.
  • Territory & pipeline management: Develop and execute a territory sales plan, actively prospect new opportunities, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline in CRM tools.
  • Consultative solution selling: Conduct group and individual presentations, working closely with instructors and institutions to align Pearson solutions with academic programmes.
  • New business development: Identify and develop new accounts and revenue streams through proactive outreach, including field activity and social selling.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Partner with operations and internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and ongoing customer support.
  • Market awareness & forecasting: Stay current on education market trends, maintain product knowledge, and support sales forecasting and reporting activities.

You’ll spend a significant portion of your time in the field, engaging directly with customers and partners.

You bring strong higher education sales experience, commercial acumen, and a relationship‑driven mindset.

  • You bring a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of experience in higher education sales, account management, or a related customer‑facing role.
  • You’re comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, including Deans, Vice‑Chancellors, and executive leadership.
  • You have strong negotiation, presentation, and solution‑selling skills, particularly with digital products.
