In this role, you will have the chance to lead impactful projects while working alongside talented professionals. If you have at least two years of right-of-way (ROW) or land experience, especially if that experience involves projects involving the public sector, transportation, and/or Uniform Relocation Act, we would love to meet you.
What You Will Do:
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings, design plans, and other technical information
- Understand and interpret appraisal reports
- Understand and interpret title standards and legal descriptions
- Prepare conveying instruments and other legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Effectively communicate and lead negotiations with landowners and other interest holders to secure agreements
- Prepare final paperwork for all completed files accurately and with professionalism to meet expected deadlines
- Train and mentor other agents
- Professionally communicate and interact with clients, the public, landowners, and all other stakeholders
What You Will Bring:
- 2+ years in the right-of-way, land, and/or real estate profession
- College degree not required but preferred
- IRWA membership and certifications a plus
- Experience within transportation and the Uniform Relocation Act (URA)
- Communication, both verbal and written
