As Revenue Management Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in executing compliance verification activities related to pricing, leasing, and revenue management practices. This role ensures adherence to local, county, and state regulations governing rent changes and pricing actions by reviewing lease data, monitoring system outputs, and identifying discrepancies.

This position serves as an operational control function supporting Revenue Management and Internal Audit by validating data accuracy, flagging compliance risks, and ensuring consistent execution of established policies and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

Compliance Monitoring & Verification

  • Review leases, rent changes, and pricing actions in property management/accounting systems to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Validate that pricing adjustments align with jurisdictional requirements (local, county, state)
  • Perform routine audits of lease files and system records to identify discrepancies or errors
  • Monitor system-generated exceptions, alerts, and reports related to pricing compliance
  • Identify potential compliance risks, errors, or inconsistencies and escalate to Revenue Management or Internal Audit teams

Data Integrity & Quality Control

  • Conduct quality assurance checks on revenue management inputs and outputs (e.g., rent changes, renewals, concessions)
  • Reconcile lease and pricing data across systems to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Maintain documentation of compliance checks, findings, and resolutions

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular reports summarizing compliance findings, error trends, and resolution status
  • Maintain organized audit trails and workpapers to support internal controls and regulatory reviews
  • Assist in developing standardized procedures and checklists for compliance verification

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with Revenue Management, Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure consistent execution of pricing policies
  • Support internal audit activities and control testing as needed
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance compliance efficiency and accuracy

Who We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, compliance, or data validation roles preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Basic understanding of compliance, audit, or internal control concepts (e.g., SOX awareness is a plus)
  • Ability to review large volumes of data and identify inconsistencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Office tools
  • Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Yardi) or similar platforms is a plus

Salary RangeThe salary range for this position is: $66,525.00 - $115,310.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
