The Role:
Our team is looking for a highly skilled R&D Lab Network Analyst with expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls. He/She has expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing Palo Alto firewalls using panorama, understanding networking protocols, network architecture, and security best practices to ensure projects align with business goals, while driving innovation and continuous improvement. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) a plus.
This role will be based out of Ansan South Korea reporting to the Strategic Platform Architecture leader.
What You’ll Do:
Design, implement, and deploy changes and updates to the Entegris R&D lab network environment
Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure the best practices are observed and implemented
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the R&D lab networks
Drive innovation and stay current with the latest in network services and industry standard processes
Act as R&D lab firewall SME for east/west traffic, and for R&D cloud operations
Document system design and operational procedures
What We Seek:
Ability to operate at varying levels including network strategy, technical design, and implementation
Capable of collaborating and understanding requirements and set expectations for deliverables
Works with leadership, architects, and infrastructure teams to analyze and improve connectivity, security, and cloud environment
Automate the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network related tasks and solutions
Manage effective relationships and work in partnership with various IT and business teams for the implementation and support of network infrastructure products and services
Create and update documentation on new or existing platforms that include equipment lists/diagrams, and system specifications
Provide training and technical guidance, leadership, and end users when applicable
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
5+ years’ experience in networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls/Panorama, IPv4/v6, and administration of routers/switches with a proven record of successful deployment and management of network security solutions at a mid-to large-scale enterprise network
Routing Protocol knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and experience with QOS
Strong Core/Distributed/Edge/Access, data center, and security experience (GCP networking Experience a plus)
Experience planning and executing projects that require contribution from cross-functional team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills- this role is heavily collaborative
