Position Overview

The Senior Specialist, Program Finance will support complex aerospace and defense programs, including cost-plus and fixed-price contracts. This position will provide financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and program financial support while partnering closely with program leadership and other internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong program finance experience, knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS), excellent analytical abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support complex programs involving cost-plus and fixed-price contracts.

  • Prepare and analyze sales, profit, and cash forecasts.

  • Perform financial analysis and program performance reporting.

  • Support Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) activities and reporting.

  • Prepare internal and customer-facing financial reports.

  • Support financial audits and other program-related financial activities.

  • Analyze financial performance, trends, risks, and variances.

  • Partner with program managers and business leaders to support financial decision-making.

  • Work with multiple contract types and understand their financial implications.

  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and controls.

  • Identify and proactively resolve complex financial issues.

  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Present financial information and analysis to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of finance experience, OR

  • Graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of finance experience.

  • In lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience may be considered.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

  • Experience supporting complex programs in a finance or program-finance environment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at different levels of an organization.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

  • Ability to work onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

  • Experience with financial performance reporting.

  • Experience preparing internal and customer financial reports.

  • Experience partnering with program managers and senior leadership.

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working with government or defense contracts.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Cobra, and Hyperion.

  • Ability to proactively identify and solve complex problems with limited supervision.

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Program Financial Analyst, Program Finance Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, or Defense/Aerospace Finance professional with substantial experience supporting complex government programs.

Candidates should have strong EVM/EVMS, forecasting, financial reporting, cost analysis, and program finance experience, along with the ability to collaborate closely with program leadership.

Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
