Overview:
The Account Opening and Identity team is looking for a Specialist, Product Management to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. They will also manage and maintain existing product lines on an on-going basis, including partner management. Conducts opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts. Provides design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development. Defines business and technical requirements and manages the relationships of technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out platforms.
The Product team is part of Mastercard’s Open Banking division and brings to life our vision of empowering consumers to benefit from their own financial data. We are passionate about creating solutions that unlock FinTech innovation and streamline everyday consumer experiences. Many leading organizations are already using the Mastercard Open Banking platform to deliver some of the industry’s most compelling services. Open Banking is a fast-growing area of Mastercard's business, and this team is a key driver of new capabilities and a very exciting place to work!
Role:
• Manage elements of projects within a product life cycle
• Compile market research to support improvements to products
• Liaise with various product and engineering teams and compile data to support the development of business case justification
• Research and identify potential partners for evaluation as business partners to support product areas
• Gather information to assess MasterCard's competitive positioning versus market
About You
We are looking for a highly energetic product professional who is willing to jump into an ever-evolving team and hit the ground running. While our primary roles are well defined (i.e. improving key performance indicators and enhancing our existing solutions), we are all jumping in to help deliver on exciting strategic business objectives for Mastercard, which means partnering with sales and growth teams to take our products to market at scale and engaging with Operations to ensure the best possible customer experience, to name a few. You are collaborative, accountable, and passionate about being part of a highly valued team. You have a desire to think, define and execute on product and business driven priorities.

• Business Acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and MasterCard

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
