Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist to join our product team focused on Merchant & alternative segment solutions in the Portfolio Intelligence program. This role is pivotal in defining product strategy, while driving operational excellence, managing key financial and performance metrics, and producing high-quality deliverables that inform and empower decision-making for a global portfolio.
As a Specialist, you will work closely with the team leader, regional stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of our objectives. You will play a critical role in developing new offers and initiatives across regions, streamlining financial and operational reporting, and crafting compelling presentations that support our vision. This role requires a balance of consulting expertise, operational rigor, and hands-on execution.
Within the Product Management team at Mastercard you will need to:• Translate a deep understanding of our customers into data based products that drive significant customer value• Drive globally relevant solutions by understanding regional needs and tradeoffs, and build scalable products that serve an array of customer segments• Act as connectors to ensure commercial success of our products by working with Sales, Marketing, Regional Product leads and Account Management teams.

This role demands a blend of consulting expertise, analytical acumen, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include: • Support Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to the development of new offers and support revenue growth through data-driven insights and recommendations• Structure Product Offering: Identify opportunities to enhance offer based on market needs, through standardized deliverables that should cater to different segment needs• Manage Financial and Operational Tracking: Own and maintain accurate tracking of KPIs, financials, and reporting dashboards, ensuring alignment across teams• Produce High-Quality Deliverables: Create polished, executive-level presentations and materials for internal and client use, ensuring clarity and consistency• Streamline Processes: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, optimize reporting, and improve the efficiency of client deliverable production• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with team leaders, regional stakeholders, and delivery teams to align priorities, communicate product strategy and ensure seamless execution of initiatives• Prioritize development efforts to align with product strategy and revenue acceleration plans
All About You• Background in Business Administration, Economics, or related field• 3+ years of experience in a consulting, strategy, or related field, with a track record of managing complex projects and producing high-quality deliverables• Proven expertise in financial and operational reporting, KPI tracking, and presentation development• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights• Keen understanding of competitive offerings and payments industry trends and ability to translate that into scalable products• Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized to be able to deal with multiple competing priorities• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (experience in data visualization tools is a plus, e.g., Tableau, Power BI• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for executive audiences• A team player with proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies• Strategic mindset to solve complex and ambiguous problems • Fluent in English
