Role Overview
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the purchasing process for a company, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will analyze supplier performance and work with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. You will also develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the procurement process.
End-to-end Procurement Processing
Sourcing of vendors within the set timeline
Research and analyze potential vendors’ capabilities
Requests quotation/proposals, prepares comparIson, and recommends top vendors based on the set criteria to the requesting party
Vendor negotiation and savings generation
Vendor Accreditation
Purchase Requisition and Ordering
Daily PR review and verification of its propriety according to procedures, guidelines, and policies
Purchase order creation and releasing to vendors, ensuring on-time deliveries and PO closures
Coordinate with AP for the payment processing
Investigate and be on top in resolving concerns arising from from deliveries or other vendor-related concerns
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
Ensure vendor compliance
Develop and maintain trusting and positive relationships with vendors
Develop and nurture good working relationships with stakeholders by collaborating and working toward common goals.
Contract Management
Ensure commercial terms are reviewed and negotiated
Legal terms are confirmed by legal team
Ensure review, renewal, or termination is properly conducted prior to expiry or based on renewal terms
Project Management
Able to provide support to Controllership Manager- Procurement in handling multiple projects at a time
Documentation and report preparation
Performs tasks which may be assigned from time to time

5 years work related experience in Procurement End-to-End Process
