Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for MRO materials and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers to achieve the best commercial and technical outcomes.
Process purchase requisitions (PR) into purchase orders (PO) and monitor delivery to ensure on-time fulfillment.
Maintain supplier relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and warehouse teams to understand procurement requirements and support operational needs.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service agreements to optimize procurement costs.
Monitor inventory levels and procurement lead times to minimize stock shortages while avoiding excess inventory.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procurement procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize SAP Ariba (or other ERP systems) to manage sourcing, purchasing, supplier data, and procurement documentation.
Analyze procurement spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, and commercial matters to minimize operational disruptions.
Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance metrics, and spend analysis for management review.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, with hands-on experience managing MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) categories in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement best practices.
Experience in procuring MRO items such as spare parts, mechanical and electrical equipment, consumables, industrial tools, PPE, and maintenance services.
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP Ariba and SAP.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a cost-conscious mindset.
Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good command of written and spoken English.
