Specialist, Middle Office Representative
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Middle Office Representative to join our Middle Office support team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Serve as a lead for the day-to-day operations of a Middle Office support team, providing work direction and technical assistance on complex matters.
- Lead the daily activities of a Middle Office support team servicing multiple funds, including reviewing data and assisting in resolving escalated problems during accounting and reporting cycles.
- Supervise the tracking of fund data and trades, maintain records, and establish data maintenance and summarization processes to improve team efficiency.
- Search for fail points in processes, provide error reports to clients in compliance with service level agreements, review error reports from junior team members, and escalate external errors as needed.
- Review exceptions to confirm adherence to internal and client procedures, processing timelines, and FCC regulations; dictate handling of incorrectly managed exceptions and enforce procedural compliance.
- Lead the preparation and review of system-generated reports, set standards for report output, and coordinate sharing of reports with Middle Office teams.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve team efficiency.
- Supervise a team of Middle Office support staff, including specific supervisory review and approval actions, and support the achievement of team objectives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in accounting support or the mutual fund industry preferred.
- Mutual fund industry background preferred.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
