Mission Statement & Summary
As a Marketing Specialist at NewDay, you’ll play a key role in shaping how customers understand, and engage with our Embedded Finance products. Working within the Marketing & Communications team, you’ll turn business priorities into compelling, omnichannel campaigns that build early loyalty, drive product adoption, and keep our solutions front of mind throughout the customer journey. Partnering with teams across the business, you’ll design and deliver targeted communications that make a real impact, helping our customers get set up faster, use features more confidently, and stay engaged for the long term. It’s a role that blends insight, creativity, and collaboration to deliver meaningful customer experiences while directly supporting the growth and performance of our Embedded Finance portfolio.
How you’ll contribute
Create standout customer journeys by optimising the welcome (early months on book) experience to help customers confidently manage their account, understand product benefits, and feel excited to use their finance responsibly.
Lead impactful lifecycle communications by designing and delivering engaging campaigns that introduce new features, elevate creative execution, and keep our products front of mind throughout the customer journey.
Support campaign reporting, analyse results with key stakeholders, and use insights to continually improve engagement and outcomes.
Strengthen retailer partnerships and act as a marketing partner for key retailers, supporting joint initiatives and ensuring communications align with partner activity and customer needs.
Deliver high impact campaigns and collaboration by running incentive and awareness campaigns to drive repeat spend.
Manage campaign budgets and approvals, and contribute to a collaborative, innovative culture across Marketing & Communications.
We're looking for these essential skills
Strong multi-channel campaign experience, including planning and executing marketing campaigns, building customer journeys, and supporting automated marketing programmes.
Creative campaign development skills, with experience taking ideas from brief through to final assets, working closely with creative teams to deliver engaging communications.
Data driven mindset, able to track performance, interpret key metrics, and clearly demonstrate the impact of marketing activity.
Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working cross-functionally with teams such as Commercial, Data Analytics, Brand, and Legal, and thriving in a fast paced environment
It’s a plus if you also have these skills
Actively follows industry trends and challenger brands across credit, banking, and financial services to bring fresh thinking and inspiration into campaigns.
Strong copywriting skills with a clear point of view on messaging and design that helps communications stand out.
Comfortable working in fast-moving environments and ideally familiar with the rigour of regulated industries.
Hands on experience with HTML and platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud to build and optimise campaigns.
Able to design and deliver effective test and learn roadmaps, using tools such as UserZoom to validate ideas and improve customer experiences.
