This position supports the execution of multiple marketing programs, advertising campaigns and sales initiatives in the company’s three operating states. The marketing specialist will ensure consistency with business branding and objectives and execute projects based on Eversource principles. This position requires close integration with key internal customers, business and sales management, and the other members of the marketing outreach and communications team. The specialist will be detail-oriented, able to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be both a team player and individual contributor.

Essential Functions: 

  • Assists in handling key marketing functions, processes, and programs related to achieving goals
  • Collaborates with members of the marketing team on the execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Analyzes research and measurement of campaigns and programs, communicates results and recommends improvements and/or adjustments.
  • Coordinates with internal and external copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, and other vendors.
  • Oversees, with the manager’s guidance, the creation of the department’s collateral, press releases, case studies, etc.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of events, conferences, and sponsorships
  • Participates in a continuous improvement team to facilitate departmental workflow processes.
  • Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate.
  • Travels approximately 10% of time

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or Business                

Experience:       

  • Minimum of three (3) years of marketing experience

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment which requires a combination of personal computer and telephone work.
  • This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position. As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing.

Compensation and Benefits:

$85,430.00-$94,920.00
