Specialist, Marketing Growth – Costa del Este, Panama

In your role you will support administration duties and local/regional projects and tasks providing consistent, informative, and accurate information within the communications function, with a focus on the following: 

Role Responsibilities

  • In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing relationships and coordinating efforts between the Western Union marketing teams and external agency partners.
  • You will support regional marketing teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams on all marketing and advertising needs.
  • Develop marketing plans and strategies focused on customer acquisition and retention
  • Provide leadership and direction to clients on Western Union brand strategy and creative excellence.
  • You will develop a relationship with regional marketing counterparts to promote the initiatives that can be replicated in different geographies.
  • Campaign management for other LACA countries.
  • Support the growth initiatives for Own Stores in Panama.
  • Own the end-to-end campaign development process is part of the daily routine.
  • Post campaigns; will be responsible for tracking the campaign results and providing reports to senior management.
  • Identify new opportunities: analysis of corridors or competitors, macro-context, and create new actions to attract more customers.
  • Oversee numbers and take actions depending on the business performance. Data-driven will be a must in this role.

Role Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Must have experience with Power BI. Must have Numbers affinity to manage our budgets and to control financial and communication performance of our campaigns.
  • Fluency in English – both verbally and in writing.
  • We expect you to have a proven ability to manage large projects from large and/or multiple clients.
  • Experience with integrated communication plans including ATL, BTL, digital, social, loyalty, and customer experience.
  • Previous experience in financial companies with proven results.
  • Ability to articulate and sell concepts, strategy, and creative recommendations and plans verbally and visually in programs like PowerPoint. Time management and administrative skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills and ability to offer creative solutions that will work for both the client and the brand.
  • You will also have strong leadership qualities and a desire to help others succeed.
