Here at Scout Motors, we're carrying forward the heritage of one of the most iconic American vehicles in history. A vehicle dating back to 1960. One that forged the path for future generations of rugged SUVs and trucks and will do so once again.

But Scout is more than just a brand, it’s a legacy steeped in a culture of exploration, caretaking, and hard work.

The Scout brand is all about respect. Respect for the past and the future by taking an iconic American brand that hasn’t been around for a while, electrifying it, digitizing it, and loading it with American innovation. Respect for communities by creating a company that stands for its people and its customers. Respect for both work and play, with vehicles that are equally at home at a camp site, a job site, or on a Tuesday commute. And respect for our customers by developing two powertrains that meet their requirements — an all-electric powertrain as well as the Harvester™ range extender powertrain which includes a built-in gas-powered generator with an estimated 500 miles of combined range.

At Scout Motors, we empower our talented, inclusive, and entrepreneurial teams to innovate. What makes a Scout employee? Someone who is a visionary and a leader, who seeks new paths and shares lessons learned. A knowledgeable doer who collaborates across the company to build better. A go-getter with unrivaled passion.

Join us at Scout Motors and be part of shaping the future of transportation. If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!

What you’ll do

We are building a culture grounded in exploration, ownership, grit, respect, innovation, and the belief that we go farther when we go together. Our mission, “Equipping the Scout in All of Us,” applies not only to the vehicles we build, but to the people, systems, and experiences we create inside our company every day. For this role, that means helping every new employee start with clarity, confidence, connection, and a strong sense of what it means to work The Scout Way.

You will help make the experience of onboarding and learning something people can access, understand, trust, and use. This role plays an important part in ensuring that a strong culture is not only taught but experienced consistently across the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys making things work well. It is a role for someone who enjoys operational excellence, systems administration, internal customer support, process discipline, onboarding delivery, and making complex work feel simple, reliable, and human for our scouts.

You are organized, systems-minded, detail-oriented, and service-driven. You like clean data, clear processes, reliable reporting, and helping people get unstuck. You understand that onboarding is more than a checklist, and that the way an employee experiences their first few days can shape how they understand the company, the culture, and their place in it.

You are comfortable working behind the scenes, but you also know how to show up confidently in front of new employees. You can facilitate orientation, answer questions, coordinate across stakeholders, troubleshoot system issues, and keep multiple moving parts on track. You are able to evaluate identifiable issues, adapt existing approaches, and recommend practical solutions while keeping your manager informed at the right points.

You do not need every process to be fully built before you begin. In fact, you are energized by helping strengthen the process. You bring a strong bias for action, a practical problem-solving mindset, and the discipline to follow through.

You are not looking for a role where everything is already established. You are looking for a role where your ownership, accuracy, and care will help build something lasting.

Role Overview
