The role ensures uninterrupted material availability through proactive planning, early risk identification, and effective shortage recovery. It independently manages complex material‑management activities, supports sourcing and technical teams, drives cost and POV reduction initiatives, and leads cross‑functional projects across Commercial, IC&D, and Operations to strengthen supply chain resilience and performance.
Ensure continuous availability of critical raw materials by proactively monitoring supply risks and implementing preventive actions.
Lead recovery from material shortages, minimizing production downtime through effective coordination with planners, procurement, and suppliers.
Support sourcing and technical teams by identifying alternative materials and suppliers to enhance supply security and cost competitiveness.
Drive material cost control initiatives, reducing POV and improving cost accuracy across operations.
Optimize inventory by proactively managing slow‑moving and obsolete materials, reducing write‑offs and working capital impact.
Lead and deliver local, regional, or global projects that improve supply chain performance and operational resilience.
Enhance end‑to‑end supply chain processes through continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.
Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation for controlled materials and SOX requirements.
Strong 1-3 Years experience in material planning, risk management, and supply chain operations.
Proven ability to independently manage complex material‑management activities in fast‑paced environments.
Hands‑on experience in shortage recovery, inventory optimization, and supplier coordination.
Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, cost drivers, and POV management.
Ability to work closely with technical, commercial, procurement, and planning teams.
Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of on‑time delivery and stakeholder alignment.
Solid understanding of compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
A proactive, data‑driven approach to identifying supply risks before they impact operations.
Ability to balance cost, service, and inventory objectives while supporting business growth.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence across functions and regions.
Continuous‑improvement mindset, consistently identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
High ownership and accountability, with the ability to operate independently and lead change.
