Job Summary
The Global Pricing Specialist & Business Analyst is a key contributor within the Electronics Solutions Division, responsible for driving commercial excellence through pricing governance, business systems optimization, and operational transformation initiatives. This role serves as the division's subject matter expert for Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes and global pricing programs while partnering closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Finance, IT, and Corporate stakeholders.
The successful candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, business process expertise, and cross-functional leadership to improve profitability, enhance data integrity, support business transformation, and enable scalable growth across global operations
Key Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Governance
- Lead administration, governance, and execution of global pricing programs, including pricing structures, margin management, pricing factors, and contractual pricing agreements.
- Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Finance teams to conduct annual pricing reviews and implement pricing adjustments.
- Develop and maintain pricing governance policies, controls, and approval processes to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
- Analyze pricing performance, identify opportunities for margin improvement, and recommend strategies that enhance profitability and customer value.
- Support implementation of tariff-related pricing actions, currency exchange updates, and other market-driven pricing adjustments.
- Conduct profitability assessments, pricing analyses, and business performance reviews to inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain pricing dashboards, gross margin reporting, and related business analytics.
Business process - CPQ Leadership
- Serve as the division lead and subject matter expert for CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes, governance, and best practices.
- Manage CPQ configurations, data structures, rules, and processes to ensure accuracy and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure seamless integration between CPQ, SAP, and other enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with Corporate Information Systems (IS) and business stakeholders to define and implement future-state CPQ capabilities.
- Support evaluation, planning, and implementation of next-generation CPQ platforms and related digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for pricing and business system processes.
Business analysis to support commercial excellence
- Lead and support business initiatives focused on process standardization, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on product hierarchy optimization, portfolio simplification, and margin enhancement programs.
- Drive Lean business practices and continuous improvement efforts across commercial operations.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve data quality, and streamline business processes.
- Ensure product master data and hierarchy structures are accurately maintained across enterprise systems.
CRM & Commercial Operations Support
- Provide backup support for CRM operations and commercial processes.
- Assist with lead management, web-to-lead processes, campaign governance, and system workflows across current and future CRM platforms.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and customer engagement processes.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, or a related discipline preferred. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting pricing, commercial operations, business systems, product management, or related business functions.
- Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional environments involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations.
- Experience with enterprise business systems and data-driven decision making.
