The Role

The Global Shared Services team supports the business planning, buying, executing and seeding operation aligning cross-functional teams to make our business opportunities a reality across Nike’s diverse Brand Marketing business.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Product Expert who will help execute the seasonal product campaigns . You will be vital on networking with key stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of information to the team. This role will support intake, sourcing, and coordination of all key styles apart of Nike's Global Brand Marketing Concept Map. The ideal candidate will be an excellent problem solver, strategic in thinking, good public speaker and have strong self-learning capabilities.

To be a successful Product Expert, you must have excellent communication skills. A great expert must have sound logic to make observations about Nike’s current methods and where improvements are needed.  You will have experience in leading complex strategic projects and demonstrated success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, then proposing and acting on a course of action. The candidate would have a proven track record to pull together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions.

You will intake and analyze seasonal campaign briefs and help align sample assortments to these shoots. You must have effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated leadership in delivering business results to elevate GSS Product Experts.

You should be obsessed with contributing to the development of a high-performance culture through rigorous goal setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, and continuous self and process improvement. The successful candidate will be analytical, highly detail-oriented, exceptionally well organized, collaborative, have a positive attitude, take initiative, be a problem-solver and have excellent communication skills.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will partner with Brand Marketing, Product Planning, Production and other relevant teams to align product availability with Brand seasonal strategies and stories.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain or related field
  • 3-5+ years' experience in Product Planning, Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Communications, Sports Marketing, Account Management, Planning or related field
  • Knowledge of business operations and procedures
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational leadership skills
  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities against business goals
  • Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, attention to detail, results oriented and well organized
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Planning/Enterprise Planning systems a plus
  • Intermediate skillset with Tableau Prep Builder and Desktop 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Passion/expertise for sports products (footwear, apparel and equipment) and youth culture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations to work cross-functionally and globally 
  • Ability to anticipate, identify and elevate risks and issues and to head them off proactively
  • Ability to work within ambiguous and ever-changing environment
  • Driven team player with a desire to improve self, team and Nike
  • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds
