We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Specialist II, FX Sales professional to support the growth of our foreign exchange franchise in Seoul. The role will focus on developing and maintaining client relationships, delivering FX solutions, and partnering across trading, product, and relationship teams to meet client needs. The successful candidate will combine market knowledge, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills to help drive client engagement and revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support coverage and development of institutional and/or corporate client relationships for FX products and solutions.
  • Identify client needs and provide relevant FX market color, trade ideas, and execution support.
  • Partner closely with FX Trading, relationship managers, and product specialists to deliver coordinated client solutions.
  • Assist in preparing client materials, market updates, pitch content, and sales commentary.
  • Monitor market developments, macroeconomic events, and currency trends relevant to client portfolios and hedging needs.
  • Contribute to revenue generation by supporting flow business, client activity, and broader franchise growth objectives.
  • Maintain strong awareness of risk, controls, and applicable regulatory requirements in all sales activities.
  • Ensure accurate follow-up on client inquiries, pricing requests, onboarding support, and internal coordination.
  • Build internal networks across sales, trading, operations, compliance, and other support functions.
  • Keep CRM and sales activity records current where required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant experience in FX sales, markets, treasury, or a related financial services role.
  • Understanding of FX products, market structure, and client servicing practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial mindset with interest in financial markets and macroeconomic trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and common market/sales tools.
  • Fluency in Korean and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting institutional investors, financial institutions, corporates, or asset managers.
  • Familiarity with FX spot, forwards, swaps, and vanilla options.
  • Knowledge of local Korean market dynamics and client landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to sales strategy and pipeline development.
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses, if applicable.
