As a Specialist I, TIS AI & Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions that directly impact strategic and operational outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technical professional to design and operationalize innovative data solutions for complex initiatives, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn data into meaningful, business-driving insights.

What you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end design and technical delivery of complex AI/BI architecture initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy and roadmaps.

  • Provide technical leadership across programs ensuring robust design principles, effective tools, risk management, and delivery excellence.

  • Approve and govern solution architecture for AI/Data products to ensure alignment with enterprise AI/analytics standards and industry best practices.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable AI/analytics solutions, selecting appropriate technologies and approaches.

  • Design and validate secure, reliable, high-performing analytics architectures that meet business needs and service expectations.

  • Develop AI & analytics data models (e.g., AI agents, data marts) and ensure effective data pipelines for transformation, quality, and loading.

  • Support solution implementation and operations through documentation, training, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 7+ years of progressive experience in AI/data architecture within large, complex organizations.

  • Proven track record (5+ years) delivering enterprise-scale AI and analytics solutions, combining strong technical and analytical expertise.

  • Deep knowledge of data architecture, databases (relational, NoSQL, NewSQL), and advanced analytics/AI/ML techniques for high-volume and complex datasets.

  • Direct experience with AI/ML, LLMs, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI, including governance and risk frameworks.

  • Strong expertise in modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ETL/ELT, big data, cloud-based analytics, BI tools like Power BI).

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align business, product, and technical needs in enterprise environments.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex challenges, regulatory considerations, and stakeholder needs.

  • TOGAF, Databricks Machine Learning or Data Engineering professional certification is an asset.

  • Experience with version control, CI/CD, or MLOps practices.

  • Knowledge of Agile development best practices, and experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible, and decisions affect all integrated processes associated with new or changed business or operations.

  • Some travel required between Enbridge regions/office locations.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: 

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. 

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:  

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone. 

Salary: 

  • Ranges from $94,500 – $135,000 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Ranges from $96,200 – $135,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. 

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
