Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required. 

Work Experiences:

  • 2+ years of related experience required.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interface professionally with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Strong ability to present and facilitate to various sizes and levels of audience
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles
  • Ability to gauge learners’ application and retention of course concepts and react as needed
  • Ability to strategically anticipate, plan, and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Ability to independently manage and execute projects to include logistics, scheduling, and tracking of compliance
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform assigned job duties
  • Flexible to travel and be on the road for periods of time For store related positions:  Available to travel for extended periods of time
  • Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Manages projects through knowledge of programs, with various scope and complexity, to ensure timely execution of high quality deliverables while adhering to all deadlines.
  • Conducts discovery meetings with internal and external business partners of all levels to define learning solution objectives to ensure the impact can be measured and is linked to business goals.
  • Creates customized learning curriculum, from conception to implementation, which includes classroom and virtual instruction, eLearning modules, or blended solutions.
  • Works directly with all levels of business leaders to set learning and delivery expectations and create learning schedules and timelines.
  • Develops and facilitates learning to all levels of the organization via classroom, web-based, or blended solutions.
  • Identifies opportunities in learning by assessing participant engagement and knowledge transfer, and makes mid-course adjustments.
  • Collaborates with business partners to drive compliance in mandatory operational learning programs, to include Academy and regulatory-related certifications, in support of the business.
  • Empowered to make judgment calls for self and business in emergent situations with little to no direction.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rules
  • Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks as assigned

  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
